Although proper testing can be logistically challenging when moving between cities every few days, a careful clinical evaluation often allows for effective empirical treatment — meaning treatment based on symptoms and medical judgment rather than immediate laboratory confirmation — while still ensuring a high likelihood of successful resolution.

As a physician with extensive experience treating urinary tract infections (UTIs), yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, and other STDs, I’ve helped hundreds of patients in recent months find relief and lasting solutions. If you’re dealing with symptoms now, I’d be glad to guide you through the next steps. Together, we’ll review your history and current symptoms to create a treatment plan that works for you. I can provide the necessary prescriptions—whether it’s nitrofurantoin, cefixime, levofloxacin, or another option—and explain the pros and cons of each approach. For those dealing with recurrent UTIs or persistent yeast infections, we’ll also discuss prevention strategies and product recommendations to help break the cycle. Importantly, I’ll be available for follow-up care to make sure you're recovering well and feeling like yourself again. I’m here to help you get back to feeling your best. I can also help coordinating/translating with pharmacies.

Cloudy urine, urgency, pelvic pain, burning on urination, blood in urine, kidney pain, foul smelling urine, back pain. A vaginal discharge might indicate other diagnoses.

  • Can I get antibiotics online in Europe?

    • Legislation depends from one country to the other, but most pharmacies accross Europe accept online prescriptions from EU-licensed Doctors.

  • Can a UTI go away without antibiotics?

    • It is possible, especially if drinking a lot of water (the more you drink, the more urine is passed and thus the more bacteria are “mechanically” flushed-out. It might be enough to clear out a UTI, but in lots of cases antibiotics are needed.

  • What is the best antibiotic for cystitis?

    • There isn’t one best antibiotic. For UTIs, we are pretty lucky as a lot of different types of antibiotics exist. While the best is to test, identify the proper germ (bacterial strain) and assess its antibiotic resistance/sensitivity pattern in the lab, it is sometimes impractical to do so while traveling. According to your body type, your age, your background, eventual other medication taken, eventual recent antibiotics taken, your allergy pattern and other data, I am able to tailer an empirical therapy that has high chances of clearing the infection out quickly. Examples of antibiotics used for UTIs are Trimethoprim, Nitrofurantoin, Fosfomycin, Amoxicillin-Clavulanate (Amoxi-Clav or Augmentin), Cefixime, Ciprofloxacin and Levofloxacin.

  • What if symptoms persist?

    • I always stay in touch with my patients. If we have to change over to a different treatment plan, we do it as soon as needed. If we need to do some testing, or eventually go to a healthcare facility for specialized care and procedures, I am always happy to assist.
